NH Required Vaccines for School Attendance when registering for school:
Please be sure your children are up-to-date on vaccines
Be Wise Vaccinate Booklet (please clink on)
School-age children, from preschoolers to college students, need vaccines. Making sure that children receive all their vaccinations on time is one of the most important things you can do as a parent to ensure your children's long-term health—as well as the health of friends, classmates, and others in your community.
The required NH School Year 2020-2021 Required Immunizations can be viewed here:
***Required Immunizations for next School Year 2020-2021 (Click Here)
New Hampshire law HeP- 301.13-15 requires that all children enrolled in any school, Pre-school, or child care have certain immunizations to protect them and those around them from certain vaccine preventable diseases.
Physical Exams Required: Students are required to have a physical exam prior to entering school when first register (K or1st grade) or enter in any grade when moving from out of state. All students need to have a physical documentation in their medical file. Please send the Physical Exam documentation to the School Health Office before the start of the school year or any updates thereafter during the school year.
Please complete the following if your child has either Asthma or Food Allergies and bring to the School Nurse at the beginning of the school year.

Healthy Ideas to keep healthy and for learning success:
- Sleeping at least 8 - 10 hours each night.
- Eating Breakfast before school or at school. Do you know a healthy breakfast is available in the cafe at school?
- Healthy Snack: Fruits, vegetables, cheese, crackers, water to drink (Please see suggestions below this message).
- Good hand hygiene by washing hands with soap and water, especially after coughing or sneezing. Alcohol-based hand cleaners also are effective if you are not near a sink.
- Good respiratory etiquette - Covering your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your elbow or shoulder, not into your hands. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth; germs are spread this way
- Wear a Mask - Masks create a barrier that reduces the spray of a person's spit and respiratory droplets. Masks can also protect you from others who may have coronavirus but are not showing symptoms and who could come within 6 feet of you, That is how far respiratory droplets can travel when people sneeze or cough or raise their voices. More information from American Academy Pediatrics (AAP)
- Exercise - activity is important for our health and our mind.
Protect Your Family From Getting Sick By:
- Avoiding being with sick people.
- Do Not touch your face.
- Wearing a mask when go outside of your house.
- Be 6 feet (one pool noodle) apart when outside from people you do not live with.

- Washing your hands often with soap and water.
- Staying home when sick.
- Follow your providers (Doctor/Nurse Practioner) recommendation when sick

Germs, Germs, Germs are everywhere.
The best way to prevent illness is HAND WASHING with soap & water or using hand sanitizer is the best way to reduce the spread of germs. Also, it is important to:
Teach your children to cover their coughs and sneezes with a tissue or their elbow.
Teach your child not to share personal items like their food or water bottles.
